Is the Helsinki City Card Worth It?

The 24-hour card is from €62 on Tiqets. Without it, a typical day costs:

• Transport (Zone AB, 24h): €10.60.
• Museum entry: Ateneum, Amos Rex and Kiasma charge €22–23 at the door (a couple of euros less online).
• Temppeliaukio Church: €8.
• Suomenlinna ferry: covered by a Zone AB day ticket.

So transport (€10.60) + Ateneum (€23) + Amos Rex (€22) + Temppeliaukio (€8) = €63.60 — a hair over the card's from-price, and that's before you add a fourth museum, Kiasma (€23), or a hop-on hop-off bus (€36).

The break-even rule: visit 3+ paid attractions in a day and use transport at all and the card pays for itself. One museum and lots of walking? Buy individual tickets instead. The 48h and 72h versions cost more but spread the same logic over more days — ideal for a long weekend in Helsinki.
