Thi is a question I asked when I was moving to Frankfurt 4 years back. After living here for the last 4+ years I can see it is one interesting place to visit.

Is Frankfurt Worth Visiting? Yes!
In my opinion, Frankfurt is worth visiting. No doubt, 100%. If not for longer holidays then at least spending 2 days or 3 to cover all the places around Frankfurt.
You can also plan a short excursion to Frankfurt because it is one of the biggest airport so you can also plan a Frankfurt Layover tour where you visit nearby places.
But yes don’t get confused with Frankfurt Hahn Airport because that is not Frankfurt and it is around 1.5 hours from main Frankfurt.
There can be multiple reasons to visit Frankfurt but as a solo traveller sometimes you are only looking for how safe is Frankfurt. Frankfurt ranks 3rd for personal security worldwide and the Economist 2022 Global City announced Frankfurt as the 7th most liveable city in the world.

How to Get Around in Frankfurt
The best way to get around in Frankfurt old town area is by walking but if you want to explore all the places you can make use of the Frankfurt City Card which offers unlimited transport in the city.
To get to and fro from the airport the best way is to take the train ( also included in the Frankfurt City Card) and it takes around 20 minutes to reach the city centre Hauptwache.
You can also take bike tour in Frankfurt it is also one interesting thing to do in Frankfurt as a part of your trip.
