Well, yes, Amsterdam is a Safe place to visit and over my last 3 visit, I have explored the streets of Amsterdam even late at night around midnight and have not felt un-safe.

Not to mention that you just have to follow along the busy streets and not wander around the shady areas.

Can I recommend Amsterdam as one of the Solo Travel places in Europe, I would say yes of course I can but there is a caveat around this.

You have to avoid the coffee shop or cakes, or getting high because as a solo travellers, you will be stuck in the loop if you are caught in this.

Areas to Avoid in Amsterdam

  1. Red Light District (De Wallen): This area is known for its nightlife and adult entertainment. While it attracts many tourists, it can also be crowded and has a higher risk of petty theft and scams.
