The journey can be divided into two part
Barcelona-Plaça Espanya – Monistrol de Montserrat
It takes roughly around 1 hour 5 minutes and in total of 23 stops to reach from Barcelona Placa Espanya to Monistrol de Montserrat and the train run every 20 minutes in the normal days.
The first train in the morning is around 05:16 AM.
Monistrol de Montserrat – Montserrat (Don’t forget to change platform)
The last part of the journey is something for which you may have to wait for sometime at the Monistrol de Montserrat station. It is only 3 stops from here to Montserrat but the train runs every 1 hour from here.
It will take another 20 minutes for this journey.
